PersonPost is a platform that enables parcel tracking for packages delivered by non-commercial routes, such as via your friends or family.
You create your own parcel label which shows the recipient’s address, sender’s details and a QR code that enables location updates along the parcel journey. Print this and attach it to your parcel so that each one of your courier team can provide an update on your parcel’s movements. You’ll receive an email with a link back to the parcel tracking page so that you can see how far your parcel has got.
For the parcel to be properly tracked, it depends on the QR code being scanned by each volunteer courier in the chain, with location services enabled on the mobile device used for scanning. Each scan is logged on the parcel’s dedicated tracking page, showing its progress.
